What is an open installation?
The installation of Lodge officers in a ceremony open to the general public serves three main purposes:
Thee families of the officers and members can share with each other the joy of attending an actual Lodge ceremony and take pride in the honor paid to loved ones and friends at that time.
Familiies and non-Masonic friends wwho are invited can learn something about the operation of a Lodge, the duties of its officers and the philosophes of the Masonic Fraternity.
An open-to-the-public event helps overcome a general misconception about the secrecy of Freemanonry, and can, therefore promote a greater appreciation and esteem for the Institution.
Family, friends, and yet to be Brothers please feel free to attend Kemper-Macon Ware's Open Installation of Officers for the 2024 term.
